2020—an unprecedented year—is coming to a close. Though this year has been filled with uncertainties, one thing that has kept me grounded in all of it is reading. Good literature allows one an escape from the confines of their life, even if only for a moment. And for many, 2021 represents hope, the possibility of change, of things getting better.
